Salvador Lopez

After playing and coaching sports all my life. I fell in love with pickleball in 2018 and became an avid player, medaling in two national championship tournaments in the advanced division.

As a student of the game, I started coaching a few players, gaining certified teaching credentials through the Professional Pickleball Registry in 2020 and the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association in  2021.  What started as a weekend hobby has turned into my focus, as I have now coached over 500 players 1:1 or in small group settings throughout the Bay Area.

My students range from beginners to high-level players looking to make the jump to the pros.  I believe that anyone with the proper body mechanics and technical stroke parameters can improve in just a few lessons.  I make learning fun by using clear metaphors reinforced with visual cues and supportive instruction to give you the pickleball tools and mastery you desire.

I frequently coach between Palo Alto and Burlingame but am available across the broader Peninsula and South Bay.

Finally, I’m a people person who loves to coach and bring a fun-loving spirit to the courts every time I teach.

“Sal‘s coaching is for every level, the better you get, the more he has to teach you!

I love pickleball even more after every lesson with Sal.”
